Off to Namibia
Hailey and Blair start off first, they are stoked and getting along, she isn’t being a bitch for once.
We are down to six teams, 3 couples, 3 blind dates! Time to get down to business!
Hailey is ragging on Blair but letting it slide. They have to take a bush plane and he wants comfy seats, she protests in lieu of more strategic seats but concedes because the comfy seats are near the pilot that she says is “absolutely gorgeous.” Sorry but the man standing next to you is WAAAAY hotter and you have been so mean to him!
Everyone is kinda freaked about these tiny planes they have to be on. I would be too! Funk that.
Aly and Steve are the first to land and must now head to a Bushman Village. They have to drive there and pick up a salt lick along the way.
Laura and Tyler just picked up their THIRD date night card, yes!
Road Block – Stick Around
Teams must build a grass hut with the Bushmen. Aly is pissed that Steve let her take this one.
Just when I started to cheer for Mike and Rochelle they end up being stupid. They are once again stuck because they cannot DRIVE A STANDARD TRANSMISSION~! This is pathetic. Please tell me, is this a Millennial thing? WTF?!
Tyler & Laura, Blair & Hailey both did NOT grab salt licks. They have to go back and do it. Laura and Tyler get back and finish first!
Matt and Ashley, Steve and Aly are next. I LOVE how these Bushmen are totally into it, they are working hard and fast!
Detour – Track or Pack
They have to track an elephant OR go and feed a pack of wild dogs.
Laura wants to feed the dogs, they have to butcher a wildebeest carcass and then feed them. The teams are totally getting into it.
By the time Steve and Aly get to Pack it is full so they have to do Track. They are now tracking elephants. Pretty cool.
Everyone is done and on their way. While driving, Aly tells Steve is it too far over to the left, he gets snotty about it, doesn’t correct. Next thing you know they hit something and get a flat tire. They feel like they are for sure in last place.
Mike and Rochelle are lost. Same with Jenny and Jelani. Laura and Tyler, Matt and Ashley are finding their way just fine. They both see Phil but can’t figure out to get to him. Tyler wants to rock climb and Laura says no way.
Matt talks Ashley into it and they hop right up.
They are first and each win $5000.
Again, have I not said how much I love the remaining teams!?!

#6 – Aly and Steve are last to arrive, he has not said they are eliminated so it must be non-elimination. YEP. They are still in it, they just have to do a Speed Bump.

They start the next leg by camping out under the stars and amongst the wildlife.
They are up and off.

Road Block -AIRDROP
Teams must participate in an air-drop similar to those that human aid organizations use. They aren’t doing the actual but having to find a dropped package. Looks easy, but turns out to be hard.
Jeff and Jelani get a flat. They end up arriving to the Road Block with Mike and Rochelle. They kicked butt.
Detour Work or Play
Aly and Steve’s Speed Bump is totally awesome! They get to make toys for disadvantaged kids!
Matt and Ashley choose Play and they have to ski UP a sand dune. Then they get to go to the UTurn box. They Uturn Jenny and Jelani. In the meantime, Jenny and Jelani just used their Express Pass.
Then Laura and Tyler Uturn Aly and Steve! I didn’t see that coming.
Jenny and Jelani aren’t overly concerned since they don’t have to do both Detours ala the Express Pass.
Aly and Steve are so far behind they are just now finishing the AIRDROP.
Mike and Rochelle choose Work, so they must hook up and haul some big ole tires.
PIT-STOP
They have to choose a wild animal to take to the Pitstop. Laura and Tyler choose a Zebra and it gets all crazy!
He gets it under control and they make it in FIRST! They win a trip to Queenstown, New Zealand. These two need to get married!!

Back at the Pitstop
Mike and Rochelle choose a zebra, lol. Lesson learned, never pick a zebra, it’s like picking a donkey. We ALL know donkeys are stubborn. They switch. To a donkey.
Costs them 4th place.
